I can proudly announce the first Catch the Beat World Cup



General Rules:

-It's a 3 vs 3 Team tournament.
-Team size is 3 member and 1 backup member in case someone from the team is missing(when you want one).
-Teams should be builded with people from the same country. When people missing you can team up with another country from the
-Minimum team number is 16, maximum 32.
same continent (there are exceptions).
-No cheating
-When you want to the staff write me a forum PM.
-Maps can be choosed like in Weezy's tournament. Maps will be given on Monday.

Game specific rules:

-A game will be a 3 vs 3 match.
-Games will be hold on weekends.
-When two of a team are missing the game will still hold (rematches in special cases or when both teams accept it)
-When you know that you can't come to the game, please tell it the teamleader or the staff.
-You will play without mods(NoVideo is allowed[/obvious]).
-The maps will be only ranked/approved (there are exceptions!).
-A staff member or me will create the game. When nobody of the staff is online you have to open the game yourself .
-The leader of a team makes a screen and gives it to a staff member or me. Same with the multiplayerpage.

Group Phase:

-The first 5 rounds are hold in groups up to 5 teams
-Victory gives 3 points and defeat 1 point.
-When really nobody of a team appears the team will gain -3 points ^-^
-The first and second in a group are coming into the quarterfinals.
-In the group phase you play always 3 map max.
-You can choose the date of the match yourself till wednesday, otherwise i'll choose one.
-Automatic rematch when someone disconnects before the first 5 notes *of a song(means you will play the map again)*
-A team chooses only 1 map, when there is a tie, you must use the tiebreak map.

K.O. Phase:

-Map order is already given.
-You will play at max. 5 maps in quarter,7 in semi and 9 in finals.

I suggest: before every match, teams decide what mods will be in the song, if none, hidden, dt, etc

FL is just memorize

p.s) no mod is pro mode

It has been already discussed in #videogames yesterday. There WON'T be any mods by now. And yes, I'd like to play every song with HD, but NoMod is the fairest option.

Of course some modes make some songs easier to play, but not everybody can control many of the hard mods as FL or HR, for example.

I hope you can understand this situation.

I hope this is legal, and not got banned status. So, I want one people from GMT+1 for backup atm, but possibly be a normal member in the nearly future. One member in my team is too lazy to practice, so if anyone want to sign up, and he/she is alone, just ask me forum pm or in the game.

Central European Standard Time = GMT+1
Central European Summer Time = GMT+2

Okey... we are GMT+2 now because it's summer time. But the tournament will begin after 30 October and then our time will switch to standard time(GMT+1)...

Don't worry, the time change will be in October 30th. All the GMTs will be reduced by 1 that day.

We're trying to do it this way because it'd be a mess if we don't assign the time zone applied ATM.
